A visit from a friend

So this last few days my BFF in the whole wide world was here. Unfortunately it was under circumstances that were not so pleasant. Krissy- I will have and keep your family in my prayers.
Any who with her here it gave us some time to catch up a little. She is a wonderful wonderful friend whom I love more then words can ever describe. She is my total opposite personality wise, but we seem to compliment each other 100%. She is my inspiration. This girl has been through and has experienced some stuff some of us couldn't even imagine, but she does not hold onto the past. She conquers it, moves on and takes it all and learns from it. She is amazing. She is a wonderful mom who has a wonderful daughter. She has a wonderful husband, job and has many amazing talents.
I have the best-est friend on this entire planet. So Krissy thank you for complimenting me and making me complete. I love you as a friend but more so as a sister.

Lunch with Charlotte

Today I had a lunch date with Charlotte. Charlotte is Krissy's sister and Krissy is my Best Friend. Krissy had told me awhile back that Charlotte was coming up here to visit family and to scope out job prospects. Krissy told me that she had given Charlotte something to give to me, I knew that Krissy had knitted me some socks, but have not seen the finished project.
Lunch with with Charlotte went very well, I should have gotten together with her sooner, but was busy with end of the summer stuff. I have met Charlotte once before while I was in Cali last September for Krissy and Skye's wedding reception.
After I had lunch with Charlotte I headed home to see what was inside the bag from Krissy.
Here is what she gave me.


I just love the socks. I love the colors. Now these are not just any socks. These are hand Knitted by Krissy. She is such an inspiration. I have tried and tried to learn how to knit, but have not been very successful. I know it's because I just haven't devoted the time to it I need to. Thank you Krissy for the socks, gum, tic tacs, and the card. You truly are an awesome friend to have, the world's best in my opinion. When I wash them I will post a new pic with them on the feet.
