PARTY DAY!

Well today is party day. Thank goodness. Let's get the party started. I did not realize just how hectic getting ready for a party can be. Typically I have Rick here to help with last minute things, such as runs to the store, etc, but unfortunately Rick was at Drill this weekend in Mountain Home.
So we had a few people here. Katelynn's few close friends from school were her, NaNa and PaPa, aunties, uncles, and cousins.
Games included, a water balloon relay.... turned water balloon fight, pin the flower on the flip flop, and ended with the breaking of the flip flop pinata.
She really can be a ROCK STAR now with this Hannah Montana guitar from Uncle Chuck and Auntie Dawn. Watch out Hannah Montana, you have competition now.

She can now enjoy more tunes, even though daddy couldn't be a part of the festivities, he bought her the new MILEY CYRUS C.D.

I had to include this picture, I love the expression on Katelynn's face, she was obviously excited about something she opened, but note the POUT on Nicholas's face in the background. He wanted it to be his birthday.

So she ended up with a slew of gifts. Art set, a assortment of Hannah Montana stuff everything from bracelets, to hair stuff to Hannah Montana markers, stickers and yes even Hannah Montana candy (all I have to say is MILEY will be well off the rest of her life). She also received a new Hannah Montana backpack for school with ALL of her school supplies included, a Hannah doll, a Miley doll, Miley Cyrus C.D., art supplies to go with her art set, and a new stereo that she can hook her Barbie girl MP3 player too. She received so many things, I am so glad she took it upon herself to clean out all old and broken toys from her room earlier this week to make room for her new stuff.....as the saying goes OUT WITH THE OLD, AND IN WITH THE NEW.

Wow, Katelynn! What a lot of Hannah Montana suff! Looks like you had an awesome birthday party with all the wonderful presents and the fun (and I know delicious) flip-flop cake and the terrific flip-flop pinata. And Kelly... great job putting together a wonderufl, fun, and memorable party for Katelynn. Love you all.
