The Opening Ceremonies in Beijing China

I wanted to give Chinese Ceremony Director and film-maker Zhang Yimou props to a WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL, ARTFUL AND HISTORICAL representation of their country at the opening ceremony's tonight.
What a way of bringing people together for a time of fun competition, the best of the best.
My favorite highlights of the night were the 2,008 drummers, such timing a precision. One of my other favorite moments was when CHINA walked in, and Yao Ming walked in with a little boy who was a survivor of the quakes there in May. He dug himself out of the rubble, upon doing that he saved two of his fellow classmates. He is a 9 year old hero.

And to see our President sitting next to Russia's prime minister. If only everyone in the world could be this peaceful everyday.

Good luck to all the athletes in all the competition.

can't wait to see what the closing ceremonies are gonna be like.
