So awhile back I decided I wanted to change my kirchen, not a remodel, but a simple over haul. I want a Tuscan/Italian theme. My mom is very eager to help so a few weekends ago we went to look at cabinet doors for my kitchen. We went to a local refurbish place that refurbishes and recycles household things, they also have a huge surplus of misc. kitchen cabinet doors, after searching through the thousands of different styles they had we discovered that my kitchen cabinets must have been hand made at some point we could not find the sizes we were looking for, so we are gonna sand the ones down we have, repaint them white and change out and update the hardware on them, a simple fix. While searching though we came across several different styles of doors with the centers missing, the kind you would put the metal or glass in, my mom and I thought they would make perfent frames, for pictures, paintings etc. Needless to say I picked oit 3 of them all the same size aprox 14 x 14. I thought yes, I would paint some pictures to put in them.
This is what they looked like when I bought them for $5 a piece.

So, after finding these magnificent frames, we went to Home Depot to pick out paint for my kitchen (which I will show you next post). While paint shopping I went to look through all the OOPS paints, OOPS paints are great, because they are typically colors someone thinks they would want, and when they are mixed just quit are not what they wanted so the discount sell them. I found a deep chocolate brown a wonderful color, it was a quart size can, for $1.00........what a steal. I thought to myself the color would look great on the doors I bought to turn into frames. SO here is what they look like with the chocolate color paint. I LOVE 'EM.
