As we were trying to find the Henry Clay Estate, we happened to go in the wrong direction, which in all sense was actually kind of wonderful. We found our way out in the country, as we were navigating our way around we came across this tiny little store and a tiny little town, it reminded me of the little towns you see in movies like FRIED GREEN TOMATOES. I think my pics turned out great.
While here Rick and I discovered a new soda, not new to Kentucky however. Ale81 pronounced " A LATE ONE" described the this latest thing in the world of soft drinks. Made locally and created in 1926. It was a different soda for sure. Fruity notes with a hint of ginger, very light and smooth. Rick sure does dig it!!
